Playing catch up! 2 Weekends in home sweet Barcelona!

 Sorry I have not posted lately, but I have enjoyed the past two weekends right here in Barcelona. I can't believe that I have been here 2 full months (on March 8th). Now that its March the remaining time left in the semester is sure to fly by! Two weekends ago we experienced the nicest weather Barca had yet! Margaret was traveling and Maggie's roommate Kate was with her parents, so we decided to spend a Saturday afternoon making our way slowly to the beach. I have long ago given up hopes of trying not to look completely out of place in this city (my hair color is a dead giveaway) so Maggie and I decided to wear shorts for our Saturday outing in hopes of maybe tanning a little bit. We definitely were trying a bit too hard with the shorts because it wasn't long before we both had goosebumps on our legs! We enjoyed a nice afternoon of people watching down on the beach. It was so crowded, I can't imagine what it will be like when it is actually warm!

   This past weekend our good friends from Milan visited! Kelley, Catharine, and Mary Frances made their way to Barcelona, but unfortunately the weather was not its usually sunny self. We enjoyed taking them to our favorite dinner and lunch spots and even the short trip to Parc Guell. It was kind of sad to say goodbye because I think that is the last of my Wofford friends I will see while being abroad. At the rate time is flying by now, it won't seem that long until we are reunited again in May.

After two weekends in Barcelona, I am definitely ready to start traveling again! This weekend Margaret and I are headed to Sevilla. Its a smaller city in southern Spain and its supposed to be almost 80 degrees there this weekend! FINALLY I can leave the coat at home! Then in two weeks...Dublin for St. Patrick's Day!!!!!!!!!!!! I may be a little excited...
